Happy New Year!

We officially made it to the second week of 2019. As you're reading this, I hope you’re driven by new ideas, have a cleansed heart and now more than ever are feeling recharged to dominate all of your goals. Does anyone else feel as if 2019 will be the best year yet? I know I do, and I intend on making it my everyday mantra.

My best friend shared a quote with me that I felt was so powerful.

"Everything you want in life is a mindset away!"

Yesterday I the pleasure of attending Vous Church in Miami, FL. The service was so fruitful that it inspired this blog post. Lead pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. blessed the church with the first Sunday sermon of the year titled "When Opportunity Knocks” where he shared the four ways to identify an opportunity sent from God.

1st : Opportunities are often disguised as obstacles.

-This year let all your adversities become your favor.

-Far too often many people dwell on the past and pain of their lives instead of taking the time to find purpose within them. There is a reason that trials and tribulations occur in life. Not only do they make for a powerful testimony but it can also be the catalyst to dreams we never imagined to come true.

2nd: Opportunities are delivered through people.

- You network is your your net worth! Relationships lead to success.

-This year rather than cutting people off and burning bridges try and focus more on how you can build bridges with people whom you can collaborate and gain valuable knowledge. Who are you aligned with? Who have you positioned yourself to? Life requires a Team!

3rd: Opportunities widen for those who patiently prepare.

- You cannot put an exact time on when an opportunity will come. Because its hard to detect when your blessings will arrive be mindful of your attitude while you wait for Gods blessings. Imagine waiting years to be blessed with that dream job, home, car or family that you've been praying for and when God arrives to give it to you, He can't because you weren't ready to receive it. Spend time preparing or operating as if you already have the opportunity rather than sulk and become bitter because you didn't have it when you wanted it. We are always on Gods timing.

- You should be living like God is already doing what your heart desires.

4th: Opportunities from God are always bigger than you!

-God opportunities are never self serving. Your gifts are meant to be shared.

2019 let's get it!
